The whole idea behind my project is based on fluidity and movement, so I wanted to communicate this look through my illustrations for the collection. For this purpose, I decided to try and depict the garments with a minimal amount of fluid lines that would, however, speak of intensive and flexible movement, much like dancing.
Representing the sensation of intensity and fluidity, the illustrations also communicate the feeling of freedom, the ability of the player to control their own body, and the important connection between the person and their garment. It is expressed in the perfect fit, the personal choice, the player’s preferences and comfort: for the athlete to succeed in the game garment should not be an obstacle, but rather support and self-expression.
This is why my whole idea of the project is based on Emma’s (my model) personal style and comfort. Conveying her style of movement and the freedom of her actions, these illustrations represent the focal point of my project.
