Served in the U.S.

Despite its relatively recent discovery, America is incredibly rich in history and one could easily take notice of the traditional Indian culture and the variety of landscapes. The speed of its development and changes approaching also create the perfect environment for the American abundance of styles and opportunities.

Having in mind all of that, I am focusing on its past, present, and future merging into one on the tennis court. Taking inspiration from its native Indian background, its current fast pace and movement, and sustainable prospects, my aim is to put the whole sensation together with an elegant and incredibly comfortable garment for the U.S. Open.

Its back ventilation and suitable length are features, designed around the main concept of the collection – the leaf. Because of the character of the climate for the U.S. Open, I am focusing on the palm trees as a laser cut and prints and the white color, as it is not only the classical choice for tennis wear but also because it neutralizes the effect of the strong sun rays. The fabric I am using is ethically sourced to fit my concept of sustainable future. The garment’s main characteristic, however, is its reaction to movement, as it is designed to beautifully correspond to every action of its wearer.
